I have two types of glazes that I mainly use in the wood kiln. Oribe (greens) and Shino (white to golden brown) These glazes have so much variety of colour and texture depending on the clays that I use. Each firing is unique, with the results affected by stoking rhythms, outside atmosphere and temperature. Unloading is always like Christmas, full of wonderful surprises.
